WELCOME TO CRW WINE & EQUINE

Welcome to the CRW Wine & Equine. Our love for horses and wine started when my wife, Sharon, started horse riding lessons at a local barn. The local barn featured American Saddlebred Horses. Coming from Oklahoma, we were not all too familiar with that breed. My wife fell in love with the horses and the sport of showing American Saddlebred Horses at regional horse venues.

A couple of years later, we were introduced to quality wines produced in Napa. After making annual trips to Napa for many years, we have become acquaintances and friends with many of the vineyard managers in Napa. I enjoy Napa’s history and the processes of making quality wines. Although I have no wine certifications and do not make wine myself, I am intrigued by the intricacy of the process. Sharon and I enjoy hosting, bringing people together to enjoy food and wine.

When we started our breeding program of American Saddlebred Horses four years ago, we decided to tie our two loves of wine and horses. We name each of our foals after some of our favorite wines and vineyards.
